3. Turmeric and honey:
Turmeric is rich in antibacterial and anti-inflammation properties that reduces the viral infection symptoms, wounds, internal pains, and cold n flu. When it comes to common cold than turmeric is the best choice for treating dry cough. And when it is combined with honey, the benefits are double. Mix a tsp. of turmeric powder with a tsp. of raw honey and use the mixture 3-4 times a day until the cough goes away. You can also boil a cup of water and add a tsp of turmeric along with a tsp. of raw honey and drink.
4. Lemon, cinnamon and honey:
Lemon is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and essential nutrients that strengthen the immune system and gives power to fight with cold. Cinnamon and honey are also rich in antibacterial properties that reduces inflammation, cough and other common cold symptoms. Melt a spoon full of honey in double boiler and add a pinch of cinnamon powder and few lemon drops and use this remedy few times a day for better results.
