4. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has the property of fighting with bacteria and preventing mucus from aggregating in the respiratory tract. The apple cider vinegar causes relief in breathing.
Add 2 teaspoons of raw, organic and unfiltered acv to a cup of warm water.
You may add some honey for taste.
Repeat 2 – 3 times in a day for a week to get complete relief. For a complete relief repeat the procedure 2-3 times a day.
You may also prefer to take shot of apple cider vinegar.
The main cause for chest congestion is mucosal inflammation. Ginger is best at anti-inflammatory working and reduces infection. Its ingredient especially phenol restricts the mucous secretion and helps body to fight against the root cause of chest congestion.
Different ways of utilizing ginger for chest congestion treatment
Add one freshly chopped ginger to a cup of warm water and let it rest for 5 minutes. Later, stain the ginger and add honey to the that warm water. Consume minimum of 3 cups a day.
If you don’t find ginger taste then you can chew ginger pieces slowly throughout the day.
Turmeric consists of special active compound known as curcumin that not only have anti-inflammatory property, but also expels mucous out, giving a complete relief from chest congestion. Apart from being an anti-inflammatory, it is also a natural antioxidant that prevents numerous health issues, especially of respiratory ones.
To a hot cup of milk add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Later add 2 teaspoons of honey and a pinch of black pepper to this concoction.
Thoroughly stir the entire mixture well and preferably drink it warm 2 or 3 times daily for a whole week for better result.
